A CREATIVE RETREAT WHERE TRAVEL & HOSPITALITY MEETS CONTENT & COMMUNITY

The Casa Social Creator House is a luxury content creator retreat at an oceanfront villa complete with private chef meals, workshops, content shoots, and wellness & travel experiences like in-villa yoga, a cacao ceremony, and a private boat tour. This retreat is designed specifically for creators wanting to get into hotel & airbnb content creation, to travel to a stunning island in the Mexican Caribbean, and to connect with an intentionally selected community of like-minded, creative and entrepreneurial other women.

This year, the retreat will take place:

  • At Casa Vaya Vida, an oceanfront luxury villa on the island of Isla Mujeres, Mexico for 5 nights & 6 days

  • Check-in: Tuesday, April 20, 2027

  • Check-out: Sunday, April 25, 2027

ABOUT your creator RETREAT HOST

The Casa Social Creator House retreat will be hosted by Ilyanna Flores-Alvarez, founder of Casa Social & a creator and social media manager for travel, tourism, and hospitality brands.

Throughout her social media/content career, she’s captured content for a variety of hotels & airbnbs across Mexico, Costa Rica, Panama, and the US., has been the social media manager for travel & hospitality brands such as Tempe Tourism and Casa Botanica Panama, and has worked on content projects for brands including Tripadvisor’s Cruise Critic, Insta360, and Airalo.

As someone who is both a creator that delivers content to brands, as well as a marketer on the brand side having led influencer & creator partnerships, she has a unique perspective on what both sides are looking for when it comes to partnership and project success in this social marketing and content space.

While she’s been able to call many places home across Asia, Latin America, and the US, she’s now currently based in Greater Phoenix, Arizona.

To keep the creative retreat experience intimate and to allow enough time and attention for each attendee, there will only be five total retreat spots available. See the available rooming options and pricing below:

Payment plans are available. $500 is due as a deposit within 24 hours of acceptance into the retreat and the remaining fee will be split into four monthly installments.

ABOUT OUR RETREAT VILLA, CASA VAYA VIDA

Perched at the southern tip of Isla Mujeres, this oceanfront villa will greet us with salty breezes, endless turquoise views, and that instant island calm. With 5 bedrooms, 5.5 baths and some seriously incredible features (see below), Casa Vaya Vida will be our retreat headquarters and basically content playground for the week! It’s also one of the few places in the world where one can witness both the sunrise over the Caribbean Sea and the sunset over Cancun which is a truly unique experience.

Main features of the villa include:

  • Breathtaking turquoise ocean views, a waterfront location, rooftop deck and jacuzzi, island-style pool bar with swings, heated saltwater pool, daily housekeeping, skyline views of Cancún, air conditioning, wifi, and unique architectural design blending modern minimalism + Mexican soul

  • This retreat is for:

    • Creators who want to learn the backend systems of efficient content creation - from pre-production and actual content shoots to post-production and final asset delivery

    • Creators who crave a community of like-minded, supportive creatives and entrepreneurs

    • Creators who are ready to invest in themselves, their skills, and their business

    This retreat is NOT for:

    • Creators wanting to learn how to become influencers. The point of this retreat is to equip you with the skills and knowledge to become social-first content production partners for hotels and airbnbs.

    • Creators who are on the fence about investing in themselves, their skills, and their business

    • Creators who do not feel that they will take the new knowledge, skills, and content from this retreat into their business to maximize the ROI of this experience

  • The only main requirements are 1) that you have a phone you can take social-first videos and photos on (ex: I use an iPhone 17 pro to film my content).

    And 2) a computer to do your video editing on. I edit on my computer and will be teaching you my specific editing workflow that way, so it’ll helpful if you have your own to bring.

    Additionally, I definitely want to make sure this will be a group of creators that vibe well, so positive juju is always a plus, as well as people that truly want to learn, are ambitious, focused on growth, and of course value creativity, connection, and adventure.

  • I will take your answers from the application you filled out into consideration and ensure that what you’re looking for in the retreat experience and what we’re offering aligns so neither of us are wasting any time or money.

    Like we mentioned above, we really want this to be a space full of like-minded individuals focused on learning, growth, adventure, etc., and those that are committed to getting better in their craft and taking their content to the next level.

  • Yes, due to the retreat itinerary & group dynamic, this specific retreat will be women-only. 🤍

  • There will be:

    • Bedroom 1 (Private): This room has one king bed and sleeps one person.

    • Bedroom 2 (Private): This room has one king bed and sleeps one person.

    • Bedroom 3 (Private): This room has one king bed and sleeps one person.

    • Bedroom 4 (Shared): This room has two queen beds and sleeps two people.

  • Due to the nature of the retreat — being an international jaunt with lots of pre-planning involved — there will be no refunds on the retreat fee once you fill a spot and you submit that first payment. So please make sure to only sign up if you’re sure you can make it.

  • Yes! After you submit your creator application, get accepted, and sign the retreat agreement you will receive a link to pay for your spot.

    There will be a $500 deposit due that day.

    You can pay in full or opt to enroll in a payment plan. The payment schedule to pay for the remainder of the retreat fee will go as follows:

    • December 15, 2026

    • January 15, 2027

    • February 15, 2027

    • March 15, 2027

  • When we launched our first retreat back in April, we ended up receiving over 150 applications. 🤯 And there were only 5 spots.

    Because the demand is so high and there are a limited number of spots, if you wish you join, your deposit needs to be made within 24 hours of acceptance, otherwise we will need to offer the spot to the next aligned creator.

  • The easiest and most convenient way is:

    1. Fly into Cancun International Airport (CUN).

    2. Take either a taxi or pre-booked shuttle (I recommend the pre-booked shuttle option) to take you to one of the Cancun ferry ports such as Puerto Juarez, Playa Tortugas, or Playa Caracol.

    3. Take the Ultramar Ferry from the Cancun port of your choosing across to Isla Mujeres. You can buy your ticket in advance online.

    4. Once you arrive to Isla Mujeres, take a short taxi ride from the ferry port to Casa Vaya Vida and I’ll welcome you there. :)
