The only major requirements are a phone that you can take social-first videos and photos on (ex: I use an iPhone 16 pro to film my content), as well as a computer to do your video editing on. We edit on our computer and will be teaching you our editing workflow that way, so it’ll helpful if you have your own to bring.
Other than that, we definitely want to make sure this will be a group of creators that vibe well, so positive juju is always a plus, as well as people that truly want to learn, are ambitious, focused on growth, and are of course up for creativity, connection, and adventure.
-
Due to the attendees that have already signed up for the retreat, yes the specific experience in October will be a women’s only retreat.
-
Due to the nature of the retreat — being an international jaunt with lots of pre-planning involved — there will be no refunds on the retreat fee once you fill a spot and you submit that first payment. So please make sure to only sign up if you’re sure you can make it.
-
We take your answers into consideration from the creator application and ensure that what your looking for in the retreat experience and what we’re offering aligns so neither of us are wasting any time or money.
Like we mentioned above, we really want this to be a space full of like-minded individuals focused on learning, growth, adventure, etc., and those that are committed to getting better in their craft and taking their content to the next level.

There will be:
Casita 1: This room has two twin beds and sleeps two people
Casita 2: This room also has two twin beds and sleeps two people
Main bedroom: This room has a single queen and sleeps one person. Because it’s a private room, this one will cost a liiittttle bit more than the shared rooms.

The easiest and most convenient way is:
Fly into Panama City’s International Airport (aka Tocumen International Airport Panama, aka PTY).
Then, take a taxi from this international airport to Marcos A. Gelabert International Airport (or PAC) which serves domestic locations (aka Bocas del Toro).
We recommend having at least 4-5 hours between your international flight arrival time into Panama City and your domestic flight to Bocas del Toro.
Take a domestic flight from PAC to BOC (aka Bocas del Toro Isla Colón José E. Hall International Airport).
From there, get a quick little taxi from Bocas airport to Casa Botanica. Most taxi drivers should know where it’s at. And viola, you’re there!
Some people choose to stay overnight in Panama City between the international and domestic flights, either due to timing and flight scheduling or personal choice, so that’s always an option as well.

Yes! After you submit your creator application, get accepted, and sign the retreat contract, you will receive a link to pay for your spot.
There will be a $400 deposit due that day.
You can pay in full (and receive $200 off your retreat fee) or opt to enroll in a payment plan. The payment schedule to pay for the remainder of the retreat fee will go as follows:
June 1, 2026
July 1, 2026
August 1, 2026
September 1, 2026

At this point, not a ton! The destination is amazing, full of the sweetest and warmest people. And Casa Botanica itself is a true work of architectural art tucked in nature. Although because it is an eco-luxury property with sustainable values and practices, do note that there is no air conditioning in the actual property itself. This hasn’t ever really been an issue with past guests, but it’s something worth noting in case you want to bring a fan or lighter clothing.

Totally! I’m happy to answer any questions you may have about the retreat. Just send me a DM on Instagram at @casasocialco or an email at hello@casasocial.co to let me know you’d let to set up a call to chat about things further.
