ABOUT YOUR RETREAT HOST

Casa Social Creator House will be hosted by Ilyanna Flores-Alvarez, founder of Casa Social and a creator/social media manager for travel, tourism, and hospitality brands.

Throughout her social media & content career, she’s captured content for brands such as La Joya Sayulita Hotel, CIVANA Wellness Resort & Spa, and Aquila Place Boutique Hotel, been the social media manager for brands such as Tempe Tourism, Casa Botanica Panama, and Couchsurfing, and has worked on content projects for brands like Tripadvisor’s Cruise Critic, Insta360, and Airalo.

While she’s been able to call many places home across Asia, Latin America, and the US, she’s now currently based in Greater Phoenix, Arizona.

OVER THE COURSE OF THE RETREAT WEEK YOU WILL...

  • Stay in one of the most aesthetic, design-forward vacation rental properties in Panama (one of the owners/hosts is actually a former architect and helped design the property!)

  • Learn hands on how to shoot high-quality and engaging hotel and airbnb content

  • Have workshops on the entire creative process of a hotel/airbnb content shoot including everything from:

    • Pre-production planning

    • Shot lists

    • Filming tips

    • Editing tips and walkthroughs

    • Asset storage and management

    • Publishing + delivering final content optimized for socials

  • Create your own hotel & airbnb portfolio at the luxury property full of Reels and edited photos that you can use to pitch to other properties in the future and show them what you can do for them

  • Experience Bocas del Toro through offsite adventures and experiences including an island hopping tour and bioluminescent tour

  • Enjoy private chef meals at the luxury property, as well as dining at beachside restaurant in town to get food and beverage content to include in the final deliverables

  • Do wellness activities, such as yoga classes and a cacao ceremony session at the eco-luxury property to incorporate wellness into the retreat experience and your content

  • Get the opportunity to collaborate on 1-2 social posts with @casabotanicapanma on Instagram
